A dynamic and forward-thinking venture capital/finance firm with a global presence seeks an ambitious and strategic Chief of Staff to work closely with a busy Partner.

About the Role
As Chief of Staff, you will be pivotal in ensuring that key initiatives and operational goals are met efficiently. You’ll be expected to drive the momentum on high-priority projects, manage complex schedules, and support various aspects of investor relations and client management. This role demands strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside investment, marketing, and operations teams to devise and execute initiatives that contribute to the firm's success and expansion.
- Schedule Management and Prioritization: Act as the primary liaison to manage the Partner’s schedule, making sure their involvement is strategic and timely. Keep all stakeholders updated with relevant information and timelines.
- Project Oversight: Lead and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and high standards are maintained. Develop systems to streamline workflows and maintain continuous communication within teams.
- Investor Relations and Client Support: Aid in servicing current clients and onboarding new investors. Support relationship-building efforts with a keen focus on excellence and consistency.
- Document Preparation: Craft and edit key presentations, investment documents, and marketing collateral. Prepare briefing notes for meetings involving internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Collaborative Efforts: Partner with the executive team on various initiatives, ranging from planning high-level strategy sessions to assisting in event preparation and coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally within asset management, venture capital, or private equity
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline required
- Willingness to be present in our West Los Angeles headquarters 4 day per week.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in high-pressure environments.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural inclination for relationship-building.
- Demonstrated integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
Onsite in West Los Angeles
Salary Range is DOE: $130,000-$140,000 base salary with top medical benefits and 401K.
