Our Client

Our client is one of France's leading B2B hosting and IT services businesses. Having grown at pace over the preceding decade, the business won investment from a leading Pan-European growth buyout fund. This investment has set the business on course to drive year-on-year, double-digit growth over the next five years.

Job Overview

To achieve its ambitious growth journey, our client is seeking to appoint a Chief of Staff in a newly created role, who will report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in refining strategic initiatives, enhancing productivity, and fostering executive-level interdepartmental collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive key cross-functional initiatives across the organization, especially those key projects or process improvements that improve cross-functional business execution and drive organizational scalability
  • Coordinate and measure the execution of strategic plans
  • Partner with the executive team to provide strategic analysis and create detailed plans to address our most critical opportunities and issues
  • Support the CEO in screening new targets
  • Partner with the CEO and other stakeholders to drive M&A execution
  • Coordinate and facilitate the post-merger integration process
  • Support the CEO in developing the company's relationship with strategic partners by helping prepare QBRs, business cases, executive briefings and escalation discussions
  • Provide adequate recommendations to overcome issues requiring CEO/COO arbitrage
  • Improve the efficiency of the business and manages the time of the executive leaders

Required Experience

  • 7+ years' experience in a strategic consulting role as well as experience within an operational business role
  • Extensive experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and strategic planning
  • Proven success in establishing strong relationships and working across all functions within the organization
  • Proven experience in working on cross-functional and transformational projects, as well as post-merger integration projects
  • Ambitious and a self-starter, you will be motivated and proactive in shaping this new function within the Group. You will have the initiative and drive to make things happen quickly.
