Chief of Staff

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Chief of Staff (COS) to support our executive team for a leading retail client. The ideal candidate will excel in preparing presentations, organizing strategic planning sessions, and assisting with budget planning. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives.

Prepare decks and presentations for executive meetings, board meetings, and strategy sessions.

Collaborate with the executive team to set goals and define key performance indicators (KPIs).

Oversee and coordinate cross-functional projects to ensure timely and successful completion.

Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular updates to the executive team.

Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments.

Act as a trusted advisor and confidant to the executive team.

Manage the executive team's calendar, prioritize appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements.

Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

Serve as a liaison between the executive team and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

Draft, review, and edit reports, emails, and other documents on behalf of the executive team.

Represent the executive team in meetings and discussions as needed.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to provide strategic insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and other presentation tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Experience in strategic planning and budget management.
  • Knowledge of the online retail industry, particularly in the clothing sector.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
